Thank you all for signing
up to help at Los Penasquitos pre-school.
Attached is a map and directions of the
pre-school as well as some details for the day
of the project.
What would help me to plan
for adequate equipments to make the project more
efficient is if you can let me know which of the
following item(s) you have and can bring to the
project work site on Sunday 4/27. Please
respond at your earlist convenience so that I
can plan and buy only the items we need.
1. foldable ladder (6 feet
or taller)
2. painting equipment
(roller, rod & paint brush. We will buy roller
refills.)
3. round or flat edge
shovel.
4. safety goggles
5. wire brush
6. broom (regular or push
broom)
7. dustpan
Here are some details about
the school that we will be serving.
Los Pen pre-school serves
the surrounding low-income community and is open
free to the low-income families. The
recent school bond only renovates K1-K12 so the
pre-school is left out. By God's grace,
while I was inquiring about the
sprinklers through the pre-school teacher so
that we can resod the lawn, the head of the
landscaper of Poway Unified School District has
agreed to resod the lawn even though it's not
required for him to do so. Praise the
Lord! So we will not be doing resodding
but instead we will be fixing the storage shed,
cleaning the playground and painting. We
will meet at 10:00AM and to finish at 12:30PM or
earlier. Afterward, we will head back to
CBC where lunch will be served. The
following is a breakdown of the groups.
Group 1 (about 3-4 people):
Fix storage shed door and organizing the items
in the storage.
Group 2 (about 5 people):
Clean up the playground.
Group 3 (about 8 people):
Painting the exterior of the pre-school and the
storage shed.
If you have any questions,
please let me know.
Blessings,
Gary
