Haiti Disaster Relief

Respond in love by donating to the relief effort in Haiti. We suggest the Haiti Endowment Fund (HEF) or World Vision. You can make your check out directly to the organization, drop it in the offering box, and the church will forward the money to the respective agency.

 

Parents Seminar

Youth parents! Save the date - Saturday, April 17, youth ministry veteran, Wayne Rice, will be coming to give his "Understanding Your Teens" seminar.

 

Monarch School

Founded in 1988, Monarch School of San Diego is dedicated to providing homeless and at-risk children with an accredited education while caring for their basic needs. The Cantonese community service ministry plans to provide 170 care packages in March. Contents will include: body wash and lotion/moisturizer, shampoo and conditioner, hair gel, toothbrush and toothpaste, and deodarant. Adult Sunday School

We are going through 1 Samuel, with a specific focus on the making of three servants of the Lord: Samuel, Saul, and David. The course also trains participants in reading Old Testament narrative.

China Missions

There are two opportunities to serve in China this July with Go and Love Foundation. The first team will serve July 8-23 and the second team will serve July 26-August 6. The main duty is to teach conversational English to children. If interested, please contact Angie Wang at yonose000[at]yahoo.com.
